Welcome to the Squaddie Wives community, where you can share your stories, photos and thoughts, while connecting with others. Our community is a place of personal expression, where we value an honest and supportive exchange of ideas and experiences. In order to keep this a place where differences in philosophies, beliefs, opinions and styles are welcomed, please help us by following these rules.

We reserve the right to modify these rules with or without notice at any time.

We are open to suggestions but do not accept critisism about how we run the group on the message boards. If you require our help or wish to complain at all please contact us.

We reserve the right to edit any messages not deemed appropriate or beneficial to the site. This includes discussion of other Forces Wives forums, political comments, or comments which could cause upset amongst members.

We will not accept spamming the boards!

Anyone found to be passing on information or copying it to other sites will be banned.

Please do not critise other members views, just because their way of thinking is not the same as yours, doesn't mean its wrong! Anyone causing arguments on the boards for no reason will have their membership cancelled if they ignore requests by management to stop.

If you post asking for advice that is what you will get people will always have different opinions and views on things so please be open to all peoples views and opinions.

Please do not make overly detrimental comments about any regiment there is a difference between the overall experiences and your personal experiences.

If you have your own group you would like us to advertise please do not post any banners and/or URLs on any of our boards or pm them to other members, we have a banner exchange and we are more than happy to exchange any child-friendly sites with you. Please be sure to take our banner when you leave yours.

Please do not POST IN CAPITALS it is perceived as shouting by many.

Please type your messages/threads so that they are easy to understand using spaces, punctuation where possible.

Please remember safety, do not post addresses, phone numbers or classified details of your husbands work or tour.

Management reserves the right to refuse or delete anyone without reason.

When you join, you have 7 DAYS in which to post before your membership is will become inactive. After you have posted the first time you are only required to post once every month. If you are an inactive member your membership will be deactivated.

Anyone posting repeated messages to promote their site or others without permission will be warned and banned.

Please do not put political or disrespectful or insensitive comments on condolence threads.

No posting of news/hearsay/rumours which have not yet been confirmed by the MOD. This includes posting names and details of people who have been injured/killed before their names are officially released by the MOD.

DO NOT take anything from this site Graphics and posts without asking for and linking them back to us.

Do not:

• Bully or harass other members.
• Lie or tell/make others believe untruths
• Use overly offensive language.
• Deliberately disrupt our community.
• Reveal personal information or private content – yours or someone else’s.
• Set up multiple accounts/profiles.
• Name and criticise specific members of the armed forces.
•Transfer negative issues or posts from one group to another.
• Hit and run – post somewhere you wouldn’t normally, simply to cause trouble.
• Post any illegal content.
